Kathryn’s
Kenwood Cottage is situated at the end of a private gated lavender lined
driveway amidst walnut orchards and roses. The cottage has been beautifully
appointed with comfort and warmth in mind and offers a serene and peaceful
setting.
The bedroom is romantic and spacious. It has a queen-size bed and bay-window with views of the famed Hood mountain range. The large bathroom has a shower and separate antique tub. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the spacious living and dining areas make the cottage comfortable for any length visit. In addition, the living area has a queen-size sofa bed that would accommodate two additional persons. The back porch is simply a delightful spot to enjoy the lovely garden and more wonderful views, while sipping a glass of wine and listening to the songs of the many birds enjoying the bird feeder and water fountain.
Location
Kenwood is a small, quiet community in California's Wine Country north of Sonoma
and south of Santa Rosa. It has its own Post Office, newspaper “The
Kenwood Press”,
video store and some very good restaurants. Kenwood is home to several award-winning
wineries. Kenwood is a great location in which to relax and is conveniently located
within easy driving distances to Calistoga, Healdsburg, West County, and the
famed Bodega Coast or to historic Sonoma or the Napa Valley. Sugar Loaf State
Park is well known for its great hiking trails and is just minutes away! Glen
Ellen is but a 10 minute drive away with Jack London State Park, and more fine
restaurants.
Amenities
A complimentary bottle of wine will be
awaiting your arrival and some tasty
items for a do-it-yourself breakfast.
The cottage is equipped with a media
and sound system that includes TV/VCR, CD,
DVD, and radio.
We also now offer high speed Internet
access.
For cool nights, there is a Vermont Castings stove with gas fireplace. There is also central air and heat. The furnishings are comfortable and will make you feel at home. A washer and dryer are available for longer stays.
Rates
Two persons, two night minimum, from
$185- $250
per night (rates vary by season,
weekend, mid-week). Check in 3:00pm;
check-out 11:00am. We do not accept credit
cards, at this time, but your personal
check received one week, or earlier,
in advance will guarantee your reservation.
This is a nonsmoking property. Sorry, we cannot accommodate children. Infants or pets by arrangement.
Cancellation policy
Please notify us at least
two weeks prior to arrival to receive
a full refund. Late cancellations will receive
a refund only if the cottage becomes rebooked.
All cancellations subject to a $15 service fee.
